In 2024, the group Cantus Portugueses, dedicated to traditional Portuguese music, released their first album, recorded in a fully acoustic setup. The recording employed nearly 30 microphones simultaneously to precisely capture the collective performance of the 20 musicians playing together in the same room. This technical approach highlighted the natural sonic interaction and preserved the authenticity and tonal coherence of the group, resulting in a work that reflects the essence of their performance.
